Introductory Notes
This program is a simulation of how this would work in the workplace. The program records information from terminals (terminal1, terminal2, terminal3). The information would be accessed from a server which can process the information, which has been stored, from the terminals.
Terminals
The terminal exe’s simulate how they would function in the workplace. Enter your card information and pin information and press the validate button. A message will appear either granting or denying access. If access is granted your information will be stored.
Control
This aspect of the program processes and displays information. Press the sort button to access the sort function or press the search button to access the search function.
Sort Function- Please choose whether the information will be sorted by card or door information. The card option will sort and group the stored information with respect to the card . The door option will mean that the information is grouped with respect to the door type. After the wanted option is highlighted, press the sort button and the process will be executed and displayed sorted in the list box.
Search Function- Please choose whether the information will be searched by card or door information. The card option will show all relative information of the card which is searched for. The door option will show all relative information of the door which is searched for. After the option is highlighted please enter the card or door name which is required to the searched for. When this is complete, press the Find button and the information relevant to the door or card will be shown.
To access the main screen, press the file tab and press Main.
