ads
so none of it really jumps out but the ones on the picture are in yellow so they stand out a little.
The final advertisement is trying to get people to shop at Dillard’s. Its not trying to sell anything specific, but it is trying to get you to shop at Dillard’s. The target audience is obviously young women because it has an attractive young woman in the ad. The first thing I noticed was the girl, she’s wearing a white shirt, showing a little skin for sex appeal, and she’s wearing a pair of blue jeans, the message her is if you shop at Dillard’s your young and hot. The next thing I notice is the word “Dillard’s” in very large letters. They are trying to make people remember Dillard’s. The only part that had any color was the girl, which was a good eye catcher. The advertisement is a __ and I can tell because Dillard’s is trying to get the public to associate fashion and beauty with Dillard’s.
So in conclusion, advertisements can have many different messages and everyone should be aware of that. They come in many different forms, from mail, to magazines, there’s just no way to avoid them. I hope that my thoughts on these three advertisements will help answer any questions anyone has.
