helped the Lakers to win 56 games in 1996-97. He scored triple doubles 25 times, including a streak of seven games within 10 games late of the season. Kobe became the Lakers sixth best man in his second pro season, averaging 15.4 points per game and scoring in triple doubles 65 of his 79 games.
In the book’s conclusion, the author predicts that Kobe Bryant will be the next Michael Jordan. He is still young and talented and still has a lot to learn. Kobe says all he wants to do is… “live his life to the fullest and go over the top”.
I really liked this book, especially because it shows kids that dreams can come true no matter how far away they seem to be. I think Kobe has been a great role model. However, after he was accused of sexual assault recently, I don’t like him as much any more. I am perplexed because Kobe threw his life down the toilet when he was at the top. He had a supermodel for a wife, and he’s a millionaire! I think his decision to cheat was very stupid. (Even if it was consensual, I don’t have much respect for people who cheat on their significant others.) I realize that Kobe Bryant is innocent until proven guilty and I hope he will not be convicted of rape because it will be a sad ending to his career if that happens. However that decision goes, he has proven himself to be an awesome basketball player.
