Shakespeare uses the devices of mistaken identity, shrewish women, and foolish servants to create a wonderful comedy. Many elements of fiction were represented: comedy, romance, physical comedy (almost slap stick), and even some drama as characters get into legal trouble and one is nearly executed. The confusion with the names was a little hard to follow in the beginning but quickly becomes the essential part of the comedy. The costumes and visuals were really good and in addition to the excellent acting, they helped to bring the characters to life. The props were done really well and the way the actors used them helped give the play more interesting appeal.
