We could all use someone to nurture and care for us; however the play Stolen describes the lives of five people without the correct care or nurturing that only a mother can give. Some meet their mothers, while others simply never do and give up hope without ever being able to carry on. The stolen generations have been severed from their mothers leaving scars which can never be repaired. The emotions and identity of these people thrown away and left without a hope in the world.
