Yes To War
Should we have a war with Iraq? We say, “Yes!” Wars give us, the Untied States the advantage to have fewer enemies if we win. Over at Iraq there are now 2,000,000 brothers, cousins, and uncles ready to fight with Iraq. We should take over Iraq so Saddam Hussein to stop giving us the runaround. Three reasons why we should invade Iraq are: Saddam has a lot of oil and we need oil, Saddam have nuclear weapons, and it will be good if we get rid of Saddam Hussein.
First, one reason is Saddam has a lot of oil and we need oil. We say oil because even if we invade Iraq we can have all the oil we need. If we don’t get oil from Iraq and if we don’t invade Iraq as soon as possible Saddam Hussein might prevent the United States from getting oil. Our president and our vice-president are oil men, so they know people who can get the oil out of Iraq and to the U.S. cheaper and faster than anyone else. Also if we have all the oil the gasoline might be free and it’s good for us so that way we don’t have to waste over $100 to $200 dollars in just gasoline. By that way we have saved over a lot in just one week.
Our second reason is that Saddam Hussein has nuclear weapons. If Saddam Hussein doesn’t have weapons of mass destruction already, he’ll have them soon. We all know that it’s not good for a bad guy to have weapons of mass destruction. If we don’t get rid of Saddam the economy will get higher. Saddam Hussein could give a nuclear device to terrorists who could smuggle it into the United States and blow us up. Saddam Hussein could put weapons of mass destruction and Scud missiles and blow us up.
Our last reason is that it will be great if we get rid of Saddam Hussein. If we do get rid of Saddam Hussein even his own country Iraq would be happy and his country would be free. Also United States could do a lot like the United States did in Germany and Japan after World War II. If we get rid of Saddam Hussein and Iraq, the world would be a safer place. We’ve bought Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia with billions of dollars and they still don’t listen to us. It’s time we had a country in the Middle East who listens to us. More than 70% united citizens think Saddam is a threat to the American interest, they would like him removed.
As you can see, we want to invade Iraq and we are with Bush to take over Iraq. In Iraq the war has caused Iraq people to make a program for the people effected by the war, the program is called “Care” they provide shelter, food, and clothing. [next page]
