Walt Disney's first theme park
On July 17th 1955, Disneyland opened. The opening day was a wreck. Tickets were easily counterfeited; drinking fountains were scarce due to a plumber strike. Also, women’s high heel shoes were getting stuck in the tar and many rides broke down. Even though, these early problems occurred, Disney quickly got everything fixed and his “little magical park” quickly became famous.
