The international community took another look at Saddam and disturbing news was develop Saddam was hiding weapons of mass destruction, as a repeated effort of the United Nation and the United States. Saddam continue that there were no weapons of mass destruction several attempts to resolve the matter peaceful and to continue to hold on to power as dictator failed but yet he still had one ace in the hole the United Nation insisted that the United States and its allied did not have sufficient proof that he had weapons of mass destruction, and therefore could not allow war against Iraq with United Nation inspector mediations the Coalition force found it necessary to go without the United Nation approval with that in mind and the days were numbered. The United Nation withdrew from Iraq, the war which we know is now called enduring Iraq freedom.
Coalition forces pounded Iraq the first few days of the war bombing Iraq forces in their Bunkers and Saddam Palaces with little resistant the coalition forces were able to take over city by city with some causalities.
The Coalition forces pressed on with all the cities in the south and the north Saddam Regime seem to become a thing of the pass with one disturbing twist Saddam has not been found some say he fled the country by entering into Syria some of his top leaders have fled to Syria this created an embargo against Syria which seems to be working. We have achieve most of our goals but we still have a lot of work rebuilding Iraq to a stable government supply it with food, water, and medicine and bringing it to a democratic government and society, once this is achieve Iraq will be returned to its people and coalition force will return home.
When the war began I was against it, I really didn’t know why we were going to war and I felt that we should not go into Iraq and destroy innocent people and, I felt that this war was more personal and about the oil but what it really its about is stopping Saddam from making weapons of mass destruction but, now that I know what type of man Saddam is I don’t think we had a choice this man is very dangerous and he needs to be stop.
My father has kept up on the war since the beginning and he always been for the war he said that the third world and safety of people depend on the ability to obtain weapons of mass destruction, it could destroy that world and could possible harm the United States if one country is able to make a weapon of mass destruction the world could be in serious trouble, and for a leader to think that way is wrong and he should be remove.
