What crises occurred between the European powers in the period from 1905 to 1913

The second Balkan war started when Bulgaria attacked her allies Serbia and Grease in an argument over the spoils. Bulgaria was beaten, and lost most of the land that she had gained previously.

The Balkan Wars had great significance to the European blocks at the time. Germany, Britain and France had restrained their less responsible allies, Russia and Austria-Hungary from actions that may have resulted in war. But the cost was high, as Russia and Austria-Hungary were angry that their allies hadn’t stuck up for them in the conflicts, which made their respective allies worried that they would lose the support of these countries if they didn’t provide stronger backing in the next crisis. By this time, the leaders of the countries had realised that war was now inevitable. So when the next crisis occurred in July 1914, it was not contained and it resulted in world war one.
