Acceptance
I have many goals set for my future, and I plan on working extremely hard to accomplish these goals. I have my head set in the right direction, prepared for any obstacle. For the future I plan on attending a university and getting a Master’s Degree and a Medical Degree. As a person I love working with children, and would like to have a career that involves children. A pediatrician is of my best interest. Already I have many experiences working socially with people in general. I am currently a member of the Health Occupations Internship. The Health Occupations Internship allows me to experience working in the medical fields. The extra knowledge and experience will help develop confidence for preparation of the medical as a college. The internship gives me motivation to work harder at achieving my goals.
I have also participated in many volunteer activities. I have attended many walk-a-thons and other helpful functions, such as the Tower Climb. I was also a volunteer tutor for the students of the English as a Second Language Course. I helped many adults learn about the English Language. This was a great learning experience to help me become more comfortable with working and helping others.
As a high school student, I am involved in many school activities. I am a member of the Judson Starlite Drill Team, HOSA, Student Council, Spanish Club, Spanish Honor Society, and Science Club. In addition to being a line member of the Starlite Drill Team, I also hold office position as a Major. As an officer, I have many responsibilities to help the team stay focused and united. I am completely dedicated to all of my extra curricular activities, and present a great attitude toward each one of the them. While working many hours toward my activities each day, I am still able to maintain honor roll status. I am ranked in the top 13 percent with a 3.39.
I have total pride in everything I do, with complete dedication, commitment, love, and compassion. I am willing to take any step necessary to accomplish my goals. I am a hard working person, understanding, and trustworthy. I try to set the best example for an appropriate appearance with self-confidence and great leadership skills.
If chosen to receive this scholarship, I will also receive many benefits. It will help me pay for my college tuition. The scholarship will also help out my parents financially with payments, and save money for other expenses, such as, books, supplies, and a dorm room. Receiving the scholarship will also help build confidence to achieve my goals and future career.
