ANZ are also trying to minimize energy usage by using a energy management program. ANZ is still very community minded business and sponsors sporting events, multicultural festivals, the arts and many other events and charities. ANZ have a partnership with the royal lifesaving society Australia (RLSSA) to promote water safety in the home and to educated children and parents alike in schools. ANZ have also helped out with the intensive care appeal, which hopes to raise 10 million dollars in three years, the ANZ bank donated $750,000 toward the appeal. ANZ have always been a community minded bank, and they most likely always will be willing to lend a hand to a friend in need.
