We feel that this process affords a common flexibility and the very framework allows for adaptability in nearly any situation that calls for an ethical dilemma or opportunity to be addressed. The most important and basic ground rule to the entire process must adhered to at all times regardless of the situation; that ground rule, is common sense. Each of the aforementioned steps alludes to impartiality when trying to solve or at least mediate an ethical dilemma or opportunity. If one gets caught up in a single point of view or belief the entire process is in jeopardy. In summation, one must make the best use of gathering the viable facts as data and evaluating that data in a impartial and constructive way, using all available resources and knowledge bases to come up with the most equitable resolution which maximizes benefit and minimizes harm to all parties.
