challengeing change

expressed here is the inability to achieve the same joy and enthusiasm that we had when we were little. We all know that when we grow up, our choices changes. Whether it is sport, music or whatever, we notice the gradual change. This is what’s being expressed in this text. She tried to play and climb the washing line. She tried to fly but she couldn’t. She tried to enjoy the company of the washing line but she couldn’t. I asked my self this question: why can’t we get that same enjoyment that we had when we were young? Obviously it’s the change but why? From my point of view, it’s just another big argument. Hannah Robert has captured the nostalgia and she uses this to make the reader involved. She tries to remind the reader that some things are just meant to wear out. But she tries to encourage us to consider our own circumstances and reminisce about the changes that have occurred, and reflect on those that could still occur.

So have we got any resistances from these challenges? Maybe they are just there because they have their own purposes, maybe not. Maybe we just feel their existence because we haven’t adjusted from the changes we’re experiencing. How the composers present these challenges is amazing. From reading these two texts, we feel like entering a new world, we feel like we are mentally experiencing all the pressures caused by the changes occurring in the text. Effectively assessing the themes and focusing on the integral phases in the texts we are reading enable us to gain more understanding about the concept of change.
