The Great War

In the beginning of time, Earth stretched to the outer limits of our universe. All the land, from the barren, frozen seas in the south, to the hot, firery lands of the north were absent of any form of life.

All that ever set eyes on this land were it's creators. One was Vulcan. He was the god of fire and ruled all land in the north. The other was Neptune. He was the god of water and ruled all of the lands in the south.

At first the land was an equal mix of hot and cold. Never before the great war had any of the rulers ever thought of disturbing the land, but Vulcan started to get greedy. He wanted all of the land to be covered with fire. He spread out his fire across Neptune's land of ice. Neptune was furious when he became knowledgeable about this. He spread his land of ice onto Vulcan's land of fire.

Soon the land was scattered with ice and fire and niether Neptune or Vulcan could gain control of it. This war went on for centuries. Both the gods knew that neither would be able to win like this. Vulcan sent hordes of fire beasts to the ice on Earth to aid him in his attempt to take over the land. Neptune retaliated by sending his own water beasts to Earth.

The cries of the fighting beasts rumbled throughout the universe. The cries of war came to be heard by the other gods. The cries annoyed the gods for decades, and then Jupiter decided he had to do something about it. He hurled his massive

thunderbolts at the Earth at war. The planet broke into billions of pieces, some bigger than others, some covered with fire, and some covered with ice. Each of the gods, Neptune and Vulcan, had a horde of rocks. Vulcan set his rocks of fire over the earth so he will always be watching over it. The rocks of ice formed large iceballs that Neptune sometimes flys across the sky to keep an eye on the Earth. The Earth itself was beautiful. The fire cooled and hardened to form our land that we walk on, and the ice melted and formed the seven seas. Life started to form on earth. Everything is now perfect, but who knows how long it will be until one of the god's greed forms again.
