Tragedy is sometimes over rated and biest. Its notto say I wasn’t shocked and disgusted on September 11th . Two of the worldstallest buildings just gone. A nation in a state of panic and fear with a world hunting foranswers. As well a president with a new hidden agenda that would fit into his plans like apuzzle piece. This event, like others marks a new period in history. Not just a war on terror but something much deeper. I remember sitting in homeroom waiting for class tostart when a kid came in and told me that a plane crashed into the trade center . Ithought what drunk pilot did this. I had to turn on the T.V. to hear this one. And there it wasnot one but two planes had crashed into each one of the towers, I knew It wasn’t an accident.The bell rang and I proceeded to go to my third period class. Seven minutes later I wasthere watching the T.V. again. Yet this time I couldn’t see one of the towers, maybe thesmoked consumed it, or at least I hoped.Then smash before I knew what happened to the firstthe second had come down. This was the beginning. At first I didn’t know what was going to happen.Were we going to war? Who did this? Why? Some teachers and a lot of CNN cleared it all up.I knew Afghanistan was under a dictators control named the Taliban. But I didn’t knowof a faction called Alquida and there leader Osoma bin laden. They were the oneresponsible for the killing of countless thousands. It was said he did this for numerousreasons. But mainly for because he felt we had done the afghans wrong and there religion wasright not ours. We stormed Afghanistan almost what seems overnight. Destroying what little protective junk they had from us using them as puppets during thecold war. There government, rebuilt from the ground up. The world watched as wehad gotten our supposed justice. Yet countless promises and leads to the capture of binladen were never fulfilled. Americas new war, new era had begun. In the search of justice, in the name of peace seemlost. The concept of a war on terror seems to over shadow this. This war on terror is alsoan invasion on our rights. As the days turned into weeks and the weeks months it wasclear to see who one. Bin laden. By committing his heinous act he cause new laws newsecurity which seem to defy our constitution and remove our liberty. America hassince become a new place. With these new laws come greater chances of corruption in analready decaying state. His name is Bush and by using shady methods he wonthe presidency. And with lies he gained our trust. Saying justice will be served but wehave yet to see any. Using the excuse “war on terror” he boosts himself ultimately .And it seems evident that a huge stock holder in oil wants to preserve his wealth byinvading Iraq. While trying to mask it [next page]
